specifics in admission letter?

Unfortunately there was a family emergency and i had to travel to guatemala march twenty fifth, but it was only my brother and i that traveled since my mom came to guatemala for my grandpa in february (hes been really sick so its been really spontaneous and out of nowhere when my mom deems it necessary to travel). i got a phone call from my mom saying that i got admitted to georgetown on the 29th but to be honest i cant believe it im like still in this state of shock.

When i applied, i applied to the sfs and wrote about the "coup" that occurred in honduras so i know for sure that i applied to the sfs but that adds even more to me being in this state of shock because i really did convince myself that i wouldnt get in. i asked my mom to read me the letter twice, and nowhere in the admissions letter did it say anything about where i was admitted: did anyones letter actually say "congratulations on your admittance to the SFS/MSB/COL/SNH at georgetown university" or did it only say something like "congratulations on your admittance to georgetown university"? i dont have the letter in front of me so i dont remember word for word but basically im looking for some reassurance that i really did get in and my mom isnt playing some sick joke on me because that would be terrible or that they maybe put me into the college or something instead of th sfs? any help would be much appreciated and since internet is limited here ill try my hardest to check tomorrow. thanks a ton everyone

Don’t worry, I got into McDonough School Of Business, and it isn’t mentioned at all in my letter either. It simply says that I got into Georgetown University. So, I’m pretty sure they just send the same unspecified letter to all students. So, believe it. You’re in:)

There’s an enrollment agreement form that comes with the admission letter. It says what program you were admitted to at the bottom of the form.

I’m SFS too. Yeah, it doesn’t say it in the actual letter, but you only applied to the one school so it’s the only one where you can actually be accepted :)

Congrats!

It says which school you are accepted to at the bottom of your Enrollment Agreement Form.

Mine says:

Full Name (Omitted for privacy)

First-Year/McDonough School of Business -Business Administration

That’s right, mine says that as well…although I don’t really know what “Business Administration” stands for. But it doesn’t matter.

Everyone in the MSB receives a BSBA - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. That’s the title of the degree, which is separate from any specific major.

@dzleprechaun: Thanks, that’s good to know, now that Im admitted:P

Yes, the concentrations come later. A vast majority of BSBA students get two concentrations.
