Speed & Angels DVD

It's been awhile since I posted here - hope all are doing well at USNA. Son M continues to endure PT in an attempt to make it past his Medical Turnback. In the meantime we're cleaning house and wanted to remind the newcombers of this forum about this great DVD - we got ours last year and loved it. Excellent info / true stories on what it takes to become a naval pilot. Not sure if it's still available from orginal seller but we've got our copy out on eBay if anyone's looking for one....

Hang in there middies and good luck getting thru finals.

so when exactly did this come out? I saw the clips of it on youtube, then visited the website and I could never find a release date! My favorite clip is the one where the NFO talks about Navy pilots having huge watches with little tomcats as the second hand... I found one on amazon.com for about $15! Makes me laugh evertime I wear it :)
I'll have to search ebay...

FYI that one of the other forum posters snagged my copy so if you find another one out there I recomend you grab it. Great stuff for the future aviator....

I've seen the trailers and website for that movie, but I haven't seen it yet. I really want to.

A good read for a future aviator is Bogeys and Bandits: The Making of a Strike Fighter Pilot by Robert Gandt. It follows a class through the F/A-18 Super Hornet training squadron.

Make sure your son doesn't refer to Mids as Middies; that's civilian Annapolis jargon.
