It’s been awhile since I posted here - hope all are doing well at USAFA. Son M continues to endure PT in an attempt to make it past his Medical Turnback in time to return to CS. In the meantime we’re cleaning house and wanted to remind the newcombers of this forum about this great DVD - we got ours last year and loved it. Excellent info / true stories on what it takes to become a pilot (even though it’s centered around Naval carrier drivers). Not sure if it’s still available from orginal seller but we’ve got our copy out on eBay if anyone’s looking for one…

Hang in there zoomies and good luck getting thru finals.

Tell M to keep working and his Squad looks forward to his return. I wonder if they will let him return to Eagle Eight or set him up with a new squadron all over again. Either way tell him to keep his chin up, and press on.

Dknight - great to see you here again. Glad to hear things are moving forward for M. Please say hi to your wife for me. Looking forward to hearing of M's return to AFA and participation in the A-Day Parade next August! :)

I saw a medical turn-back from 09 (during 1st semester) return to my squad (his original) at the beginning then transferred to another. Then another girl returned 2nd semester after leaving voluntarily, she stayed in her old squad (mine). So, I've seen both. They also had different reasons (ie, going to a new squad you might have a friend that is an upperclassman in that squad). It's strange...
