Speical Interests Houses

I read through the description about different residence halls for special interests, but I'm still a bit unsure how to apply for it. Does any know how to register for First Year Experience & FIG?

Here is the website:

Thx

any one???

my son, calfornia resident, just decided on UW over the"mid tierUCs" and small privates.have looked into figs etc. i spoke briefly with first year program staff- they actually answer phone within a few minutes wait. my understanding is academic figs are selected at your advising session. residential fig means they try to arrange housing so that students shares same floor and classes. i believe the residential part is an option on the housing app.
