<p>Is anyone else from Emoree(sp?) going to watch the National Spelling Bee tomorrow on ABC? </p>

<p>ABC did a rather poor job of broadcasting the spelling bee, in my opinion. A stupid ABC bureaucrat annotated the compettition. ESPN has historically done a much better job, most notably by having past spelling bee winners (aka intellectuals with actual knowledge of the compettion at hand) annotate it. Frankly, it disgusts me how pop-culture the broadcast was. It sends shivers down my back! Bring back ESPN coverage!</p>
<p>To me, the words right before the championship words seemed the hardest although they were obviously pretty worthless. This is the first time in recent years that I can actually see myself using the winning word in conversation. Urshprache or something like that.</p>
<p>You know, the thread says "Emory" University, so really there is no excuse for spelling it wrong. Haha.</p>
