<p>What is everyone giving their S or D for spending money while away at Cal Poly? We are thinking around $100-$125 per month. Enough for a dinner and lunch out each week, a couple of movies, a haircut here and there, and whatever else. We are asking him to keep a log on what he spends his money on for a couple of months (yeah, right!). Just curious what others are planning.</p>

<p>Final countdown begins…I just want it over with!</p>

<p>We were thinking about $200/month, but my son will be bringing a car (didn’t want to do that, but it turns out he’s going to need it to get to a sports practice every day) so he will need to buy a tank of gas at least once a month.</p>

<p>Oh, and we will NOT be giving him spending money after this year - it will be up to him! I just wanted to make that clear!!!</p>
