Hi guys!

I currently attend Columbia University and am one of the founders of Columbia Splash!, a one day event for highschoolers to take interesting, unique classes taught by undergraduates, graduates, and other member of the Columbia community (and beyond-- all the way to University of Chicago, in fact).

We offer some awesome, a**-kicking classes, including but not limited to:
Dendritic Spines: An Introduction to Neuroscience
The Fall of the Russian Empire
The Acoustics of Sound
Objects in higher dimensions
The Illusion of Free Will
Cell Division, Stem Cells, and Cancer

We even offer an SAT crash course and, dun dun dun, a crash course in the infamous Columbia Core (Frontiers of Science, Literature Humanities, and Contemporary Civilizations)!

Even if you guys are primarily interested in Barnard (Barnard power! My sister is attending next year so excited for her), it’s a really great way to get to know the campus vibe and what it means to attend a college within Columbia University. Teachers are more than willing to answer questions about their college experience, all classes are held in famous Columbia buildings, and what better way to spend your Saturday than learning about the makings of the atomic bomb?

The event is March 30th from 2 PM to 6 PM on Columbia’s campus. We offer full and partial financial aid, so please don’t be hesitant to apply if money is an issue.
