What would you say is the approx. percentage of students who pay for/use the Blue Devil Delivery Laundry service? It makes me LOL, since laundry has always been a core part of the "college experience". But it sounds so convenient that I'm kind of looking into it. Too bad I'm not sure how I'll rack up that kind of money for laundry, since I'm 100% sure the parents won't be paying for it. And I can't really blame them, haha.

Learning to do your own laundry is a valuable skill, but it's a real hassle. :p I honestly don't know how many students use the laundry service. Too bad it's not enough for there to actually be open machines on weekends.

I guess I had the opposite experience because I thought doing my laundry was super easy. I usually did it once every 2 weeks or so, and it wasn't a problem.

i know several people who've used the service in the past-- most used it freshman year and then stopped after that, one or two continued. laundry is easier than i ever thought it'd be, and i'd always find the times when machines were available. not so bad. the service apparently tends to "lose" some articles of clothing

From walking around my dorm, I'd generally see 3 bags put out on laundry day...out of 80ish people. And my dorm was definitely full of, um, some very well-off people? lol. Eventually you find the best time for YOU to do laundry, when there are a ton of machines available. (ie if you're like me and have an 8:30 and then a 4:40 on monday do it after the 8:30, or if you know you're gonna be up late do it at midnight)
