<p>I was forced to make a reservation for a SPOP (6TH spot-8/8-8/9) date that comes after FSSP, which begins on 8/1.</p>
<p>I heard that students who attend FSSP need a signature from their counselor during SPOP before they can take any courses.</p>
<p>Is this true??</p>

<p>Yes this is true. If you can and aren’t too far away from Irvine you can try to schedule an appointment with your counselor and try to talk to him/her that you want to do FSSP and go from there. Otherwise, I don’t really know what else to do because you need your counselor’s approval to take the courses you want to take for the summer.</p>
