If you got accepted, can you post your stats and if you applied ED or RD?

i was waitlisted, 1830 all three and 3.9uw, 4.0w. You?

1840 SAT and 3.5 gpa, great interview and lots of good ECs

Accepted: 3.6 GPA, SAT 1820. A crap load of EC’s, including a lot of leadership positions. Two really good Recs and great Essay and Supplement (so im told).

oh, and by the way, if you didn’t read this on an earlier post, I was waitlisted for SM.

accepted: 4.0 gpa , 1190 math and english SAT

idk it seems like everyone has pretty similar stats and my recs were really good as well but i think that 50 spaces is just not enough. What do you think our chances are of getting off the waitlist do you think some people wont go to Cuse’? BJAG?

rocky: did you apply ED? Did you have a hook?

red: i can only hope a lot of people who were accepted will not attend, but unfortunately sport mgmt. isn’t offered many other places

Based on what I’ve read here, a lot of kids may not go due to low fin aid packages. Sport mgmt. is offered in many places, though, and in this area both Ithaca and St. John Fisher have very good programs. U of Miami also overlaps with Syracuse on admissions and they have an excellent program. D was accepted into Ohio U’s program, which Syracuse modeled after, also U of Dayton and URI and Miami sport programs. So I wouldn’t worry about that as much as the only 50 spots at Syracuse. Did anyone call and find out how many are on the waitlist? I am having guidance counselor call since I called yesterday about other things and don’t want to be a pest!

applied RD…no hook… Not sure if i can afford to go to Cuse so might help the OP’s chances

oh yeah i applied RD btw sorry…and yeah its madd expensive 4 ppl so u never no u might b taken off the waitlist. I wouldn’t worry about it just yet guys keep the faith!!!
