My grades. sat, and ap classes, i'm OKAY in...my ec's...okay....i want to get into the hotel administration school at cornell....and I am getting started in lacrosse right now. Do you think that lacrosse could get me in? Please help!

If ur good enough. Altho it's not the BEST D1 league Cornell is still D1 sports...

Well, Cornell Lacrosse was ranked #1 last week and this week has fallen to #3. And this is out of NCAA colleges.

"and I am getting started in lacrosse right now. Do you think that lacrosse could get me in?"

i'd have to be honest and say no. If you have to ask about recruitment, you wont be ... Cornell picks them early (sohomore and junior years in HS) and even these students have been bombarded by other recruitment requests. The players on Cornell's team have been playing for years and years, while your'e just getting started. Stick to the books.

The best answer to your question is to read the player bios on the Big Red lacrosse site ... cornellbigred.com . In general, you'll see that the recruits were highly recognized high school players -- all league, all state, all american, national senior showcase, team captain of state championship teams etc etc.

If you don't have those kinds of accolades ... it's not going to happen. Now -- the exception would be for a 6'6 260 lb serious athlete that can run a really fast 40 ... and doesn't want to play football.

For women's lax ... same response, although you can leave out the football reference!
