So I'm definitely going to be attending Williams College this coming Fall, and I'm super excited about it! Now I know it's categorized as a "jock school" and when I applied I was fully aware of that.
I'm not sure if I will participate in sports, but if I don't, will I feel like a total outcast there?

Not at all. My S adores being at Williams and hates sports. Well playing them. He does like supporting his friends and has developed a bit more interest in following them from supporting his friends. He is happy as a clam.

Lots of music and arts, too

Many of the students here play sports, but there’s no pressure to be athletic (well, I’ve actually been slightly pressured by the athletic atmosphere to start working out, but it’s definitely a plus since you eat a lot more in college… haha).

I too love following and supporting my friends on teams, especially since Williams is nationally ranked in so many sports.

Don’t worry, the “scene” isn’t completely dominated by jocks. Everyone here is a student first, a whatever-else-they-do second.
