<p>Thanks for the info. Sports at the club level seems to be what he is looking for. Part of a team, regular workouts, compete against other schools, maybe the chance to experiment with different sports but not have the overwhelming time commitments required by varsity athletics.</p>
<p>D. could not keep up even with club, and she has been heavily involved with her sport since she was 5 years old. Most of her friends quit and some use sport only as a workout. D. has wide interests and challenging major. So, each situation is very different, it is important to have open mind and aloow yourself to participate in various meanningful EC’s…and make sure that GPA stays high.</p>
<p>Even club ball can require players stay on campus during a long weekend. A student at Ithaca College was not able to go home over the Columbus Day weekend, due to her club sport. No biggie, but not what I would have expected.</p>
