Which do you think is a better program. Sports Management at Ucon or University of Mass, Amherst? thanks.

Def Umass. the sport management program is one of the best in the nation. While Uconn’s program is newer and not as well developed.

Definitely UMASS, the sports management program is highly ranked, and the Isenberg school of management at UMASS in general is very competitive.

Thanks. I have been accepted to both but really like UMass the most! So excited to be going. Anybody have any information on the program? Also, anyone have any advice on which dorm to try for? Thanks!!

Depends on what you want, they have their own personalities.

Like to be with lots of people with a more party-type atmosphere? Go for Southwest, plus the best dining hall is there.

Like a little more laid-back and quieter environment? Central or Northeast.

You might want to look at where most of your classes will be, and pick whatever is closest, to minimize your travel in the winter.

Also, sign up for the earliest orientation session you can. That is where you make your dorm selections, and it’s first-come first-served to some degree.

@Italy- I’m definitely going to UMASS next year for communications, maybe I’ll see you there! haha

Congratulations on being accepted into the sport management program here at UMass! You will definitely enjoy the experience! I am a senior in the program and if you have any questions let me know. For a dorm, I recommend living in Southwest. I used to live in Orchard Hill and I hated walking up the hill all the time. Most of the students living with me were science major as well.
