So I’m looking at the fees for next year and there’s one for the Sports Pass. Is it worth it? I’m not really a big hockey or basketball fan so I don’t go to many games. Do you guys think I should waive the Sports Pass?

Yeah most def. waive it. I didn't my first semester thinking I was gonna go to a few hockey or basketball games, but it wasn't worth it. I did use it a few times for the hockey games, but it was a hassle to have to go down to agganis right when it opened to get tickets before they sold out. If you are planning to attend most of the hockey games, (which if you dont know already are AWESOME and one of the most popular events on campus) I advise you to get season tickets that way you get guaranteed seats, AND you can get them in the coveted student section too.

where and when can i purchase season tix for hockey games? how much does it cost?

shh......... (that's my plan lol).

I know someone at BU now who does this, and I definitely plan on doing this too.

well?? I am also waiting to hear where to get the season hockey passes... my D aunt wants to get them for her as a graduation present. Please help! thanks!!

Perhaps you can go on the web site for the Aganis Arena and search under hocky tickets. (as well as check out upcoming concerts) . Not sure of the correct spelling.

Go here: http://www.agganisarena.com/events/terriers/mhockey/season.html

They are not available for purchase yet though, they will go on sale later this summer. They are $300 for students.

okay, i know that the BU hockey team rocks, but i'm totally not into sports, so would i be missing out like crazy if i just didn't get a sports pass?

no not at all. I mean, BU hockey games are wicked crazy and you must attend at least 1 during your freshman year to get the experience, but you'll be saving 80 bucks, and if for some reason you have a hunger to attend one of the games, tickets are like 15 bucks at the ticket office.
