<p>Recruiting? What do you mean by recruiting? Offer scholarships? ... they can't they are DIII. Pay for recriuting trips ... they can but I doubt MIT does except in extraordinary cases. Respond to athletes who contact MIT first? ... absolutely yes if you'd fit into the program. Have lots of reserved slots in admissions? No way at MIT (while other DIII programs are much more aggressive). Have a some wiggle room to provide a slight tip in admissions? ... maybe. Can you be more specific what your question is?</p>
