<p>My son has recently been accepted to U of Rochester
We know its an amazing academic university so we are thrilled
He loved it when he went to visit but there were not many students around
he is worried about the social aspect of the school
Also he his an athlete and will be playing sports in college
How are the athletics there?
Do the students attend the games?

<p>I know that their football is really bad according to my tour guide.</p>
<p>Both basketball teams do very well in D3.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, most UR sports teams are not that great. While basketball and squash do pretty well, the rest are mediocre.</p>
<p>Game attendance is particularly poor, thus the initiative to “fill Fauver” aka “please, guys, come to our games.”</p>
<p>People on sport teams tend to stick together, but I suppose this is true of any campus.</p>
