Sports Team 2009-2010

I always thinks sports begin in the fall, so here's my list of
which teams should win their respective championships.
Add additional sports if you wish.

NFL: New England Patriots (Tom Brady is back ;) )
NBA: Los Angeles Lakers
NCAAF: California Golden Bears for Rose Bowl
Tennis: Federer in a Grand Slam sweep
FIFA World Cup: USA
Vancouver Winter Olympics: Me in figure skating

Not really Cal-related haha. But, ok.

NFL: San Diego Chargers
NBA: Atlanta Hawks
NCAAF: I agree.
Tennis: Don’t watch much of.
FIFA World Cup: Italy

awesome! Another Hawks fan! I totally agree. The Atlanta Hawks are way underrated.

NFL: ? but I like the Vikings
NBA: Hawks
NCAAF: CAL
Tennis: not much competition for federer
FIFA: Spain

josh smith screwed me this year in fantasy
i say watch out for spurs and wizards…

NFL: San Diego Chargers
NBA: Cleveland Cavaliers (I’d say Sacramento Kings, but…well they’re terrible)
NCAAF: CAL
Tennis: Nadal
FIFA World Cup: Spain, but I’ll be rooting for the US

*** are you guys on? the hawks? lmao

Cal fans, knock on wood!!!

I would like to add UFC: Brock Lesnar Heavyweight title reign for an entire year.

Here are 2 videos

endurance training
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwwnpo3VQZU

NFL: Carolina Panthers
NBA: LA Lakers
NCAAF: CAL
Tennis: Federer
FIFA World Cup: Brazil

Seriously, knock on wood…50 years of Cal football teaches you that.

NCAAF: USC for Rose Bowl

How’s that for knocking?

Actually, Cal has a decent shot at first place in Pac 10. USC is probably in its weakest phase since a while because they lost Sanchez. Granted they still have a gnarly defense, and Oregon/Arizona still stand in the way.

NFL: cmon people the colts
NBA: So i follow basketball like none other, and their is no definetive choice this year their is like 10 powerhouses that have like all star lineups. here are teams and additions to the lineups in parentheses. Lakers (Ron Artest), Celtics (Rasheed Wallace), Raptors (Hedo Turkoglu), Pistons (Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva), Clippers (Allen Iverson is close to signing plus they have baron davis and blake griffin as long as he doesn’t bust), Cavaliers im pulling for them because i love LeBron  (Shaq of course). Magic (ok they lost hedo but hello they got Vince Carter at Shooting Guard now and Michael Pietrus can play Small Forward if they have good chemistry i think they will win), Bulls (they lost Gordon but they have Derrick Rose who is getting better along with John Salmons Luol Deng and they’re close to signing Carlos Boozer wow that would be a sick team. Ok thats enough NBA im prolly missing some teams but this upcoming year is going to be one of the best in the NBA ever. Oh i just remembered the Spurs too and the Mavericks lol they got Shawn Marion with Dirk and J kidd… The Spurs got Richard Jefferson with T parker T duncan and manu wow so many teams are stacked this season is going to be sick.

NCAAF: well i don’t watch it a lot but i heard on ESPN that USC got a QB who is supposed to be the next Tom Brady so i guess my vote goes to them.

Tennis: Easily Nadal, so guys are making a push though Djokovic, Murray, Roddick is back in form, monfils, Tsonga, Verdasco, so many guys are dominating, and how could we forget Federer, once Nadal is healthy the US open is going to be crazy. For Womens I don’t follow as much but I would say the Williams sisters or Dinara Safina, maybe Sharapova will make a dent at the US Open.

Fifa World Cup: Well Spain is supposed to be the number one team but I pull for Brazil everytime they have a great team once again, and this is gonna be Ronaldo’s last world cup so go Brazil. I like England also just to throw that in.

Can we stay on academics instead of stupid jock related topics?

No I believe that sports is a big factor of academic life and not just something jocks would be interested in. If you have never been to a major sporting event then you obviously do not know what I’m talking about.

I think this is quite offensive to many football fans. First you can not use the word ■■■■■■■■ to mean stupid, childish, or dumb. Second football is the most watched sport in America before baseball and basketball. And third I’m Asian.
