Sports

I am a rising junior and I've never played a sport for my High School. Would Baseball be a good look?

If you would be able to randomly jump on the Baseball team junior year, I’m sure colleges would be impressed. Sports are very good ECs. 4 years is always better, though.

Eh…well I know people who transferred schools and are joining my school teams so I’ll be fine!

There’s been people in my school who joined sports senior year. Idk how easy it is to get on the baseball team at your school, but at our school it’s generally easy to get into track (virtually unlimited spots), golf and tennis (Both have little competition for spots.)

Yeah basically all you have to do is sign up lol! No tryouts…although if there are tryouts then I’ll still be on the team cause baseball is the most easiest sport I’ve ever played :)

Then go for it haha. I played golf as my spring sport my freshman year, but I might quit (I sucked lol) and switch to swim (more likely) or baseball.

That’s cool! For me it was either baseball or tennis

Baseball will look good! It doesn’t really matter what sport as long as you have something to put down! I will be going on my 4th year wrestling next year, I’ve had 2 years of soccer, but I quit.

Soccer is Hard for me because I’m not into that kind of sport lol! I tried playing it but I kept picking up the ball!

Will be in 4th year of rowing this year. Crew is 23 hours per week (6 days) and all school year long. I’m an IB Candidate also. Colleges like to see you stick with something.

Yeah! I’m sticking with theater I’ve Done all the plays and musicals but I need to be diverse! I want to do aa sport and chess club next year.
