<p>So since the thread on music came up...how about this question.</p>
<p>Is it ever too late to learn a sport?(lets assume one that is skill related as opposed to one that measures athleticism...ex. football, soccer, skiiing, tennis)</p>
<p>My current stance is no...but you can't expect to be as good as someone who started in the critical period of learning(6-12). It is at this point in your life that fine motor skills are the most easily learned and remembered. I think it goes for instruments too somewhat. </p>
<p>That being said, I'm sure their is someone who has never played X sport unil they were 18 and is now a pro. And their are lots of people who have never played but who picked it up later in life who enjoy it a lot. :)</p>
