<p>I know NYU isn't too famous for sports, but I was still wondering if people would go to like soccer, basketball, lacrosse, etc. games as a social event and if there was at least some school spirit...because from what I've heard there's none :(</p>
<p>We have Tear It Up events, which are like basically you get free tshirts and free food every time. They usually take place during select basketball/volleyball/swimming games/tournaments, and they’re fun. I’ve been to volleyball and basketball–vball wasn’t that crowded, but men’s basketball was, and it was definitely interesting to feel that “school spirit” vibe, though it was like a hundred times smaller than at traditional state schools.</p>
