Anyone doing it?

hahaha so funny story… i applied for one of their partial scholarships, didn’t get one, so i bought my plane ticket, right? So they send me an email saying they haven’t gotten my payment yet, so i email them back saying “i can’t go without some $$$” (not really like that, but you know what i mean) and they say “well we understand, however we only have very limited scholarships” and then i start talking with the guy about outdoor clubs at stanford and backpacking and such and then a few emails later he says “yeah so i talked to my boss-guy about your situation and we can give you $100, yadig?” and then i say “well thats very nice of you, but i already bought my plane ticket” so instead of spot i spent a few bucks on getting myself a nice new backpack that i’ve been wanting for a while.

so, in short, no.

Nah I’m just gonna enjoy my last few weeks of Oahu beaches =]

Nope. I want to got to the International New Student Orientation on September 12th and SPOT would have clashed with it. Speaking of which, does anyone have an idea when the registration for International New Student Orientation will be?

No, like llpitch said, I’m just gonna chill till NSO (not in hawaii though lol)

I am!

At first, I was going to do the Rock Climbing and I went to sign up five minutes after it opened and it was all filled up.

So instead I am doing wilderness!!

wow 5 minutes and its full. crazy

Yeah, I guess since it is the first year that they are doing the rock climbing that they probably don’t have as many current student leaders that are trained in it and as a result have fewer groups of rock climbing.
