Spr 06 Grades ?

When are grades usually up on bearfacts? I'm guessing it's dependant on profs, but generally when are they out? Thanks. :D

Generally 1-2 weeks after the final exam.

Grades for math/science/engin/tech classes generally are posted more quickly because their exams are easier to grade, whereas humanities classes with final papers can take longer.

Does anyone know if a high school student who takes classes through concurrent enrollment can get their grades on line?

I believe yesterday was the last day to report grades so they should be up on BearFacts today or tomorrow.

If the student has a CalNET ID (which I don't think concurrent enrollment students do), he/she can check their grades online.

Thanks! I'll let my son know! I think he has a Calnet ID (I hope it still works) since he was accepted for 2010 (but he's going to Caltech)!

I don't think those Calnet IDs work. I'm in pretty much the same position--I took Math 53 last semester through concurrent enrollment, but I'm not going to Cal.

I thought when he enrolled this year he was told he could have a Cal email and all that stuff so it seems like the Calnet ID would work. I guess I'll ask him to try over the weekend when he has a little more time..He had taken Math 53 in the fall and it seemed to take forever for grades to come in the mail! This semester he took Math 54 & Math 74.

A couple of friends and I talked to Barbara Peavy about this, and she said we couldn't get emails or IDs. Last semester, I emailed my GSI and professor, and they told me my grade a couple weeks before I got it in the mail. He might be able to try that.

E-mail the GSIs, almost always works.

I don't believe concurrent enrollement students have CalNET IDs because that's how we got our exams back (online via calnet authentication) for CS61c and CE students had to pick up the paper copy because they didn't have access to the system.
