My next semester as of now:
. Eng 17 (circuits)
. Eng 45 w/lab (Engineering Materials)
. Eng 30 (Statics)
. Eng 6 w/lab (Graphics +CADD)
. Math 45 (Differential equations)

Does this seem like too much of a workload for one semester? I'm curious to know what other engineering majors think about this schedule. Eng 45 is offered in the summer, but rather not take it then if the above seems ok.

It’s 15 hours. I could make it 18 units if I add the additional workshops that are optional to: ENG 45,30, 17. I agree chucktown, a 6 week eng materials class might be a better option =/

Circuits and I guess it’s the first semester where I’m taking 15 units that are all tough classes. Although i’ve heard from other ME’s at my school that Eng 6 is easy

Well, most semesters I had one non-STEM course. That was nice. It would not always be an easy course, but it provided a nice change of pace. In your case the Graphics/CADD class might give you the opportunity to switch gears from the STEM class problem set grind.

As with any other schedule, it depends on the person.
Some people can take 6 difficult classes and ace all of them, while others would literally not have enough time in a day to pass them all.

I think that schedule looks relatively average though. Should be fine as far as workload is concerned.
