<p>i got rejected completely...no spring admit...dissapointed they delayed that much time to tell me that...i still have not recieved a TANGIBLE decision however. i might call just to get one, i'm rather disappointed in the way the admissions process went.</p>
<p>stats in a nutshell: 1440/2120 sat, 800 math ii sat, 3.82 weighted gpa, decent ECs but nothing exceptional, 2 Ds on transcript in AP classes that probably killed me, top 13%, out of state (VA, not northern va though).</p>
<p>nolan sorry about the decision, i got rejected too, i had only one d on my transcript back in freshman year. Im pretty ****ed about the way the handled it also. It makes no sense how people with similar and or lower stats got in but i didnt, ill probably end up transfering in spring unless the people i know there can pull off a miracle.</p>
<p>Sorry you guys didn't get in, but the problem was probably quantity and not quality. They probably wanted to see someone who took some challenging classes and did well in all of them, not someone who took a bunch of hard classes and couldn't manage.</p>
<p>I didn't overload myself with a bunch of honors and APs like a lot of people I know. I thought it would hurt me in the end, but I was consistant with As and Bs through 11th. Plus every year my grades improved (except 12th, they were OK).</p>
<p>So if they had to choose between you and someone else with similar stats, they'd choose the person without a D I'd guess.</p>
