im asking myself, does it worth it

i got in for the spring 08 also

dont you feel.. kind of crappy? hahah :/ i was really happy
and i saw the "srping 2008" sign and
i got :[

yeaaaaahhh but at least its not rejection

My D was also offered admission in the Spring to Annenberg and is terribly upset. She was admitted to GW business school and Skidmore among others. I feel she should wait and go to USC because of the reputation of Annenberg but she is ready to throw in the towel and choose a school that will take her in the fall. What do you think of her choices? We are all confused and upset at this point. I think this could be a wonderful opportunity to do something fun and productive in the fall. I want her to understand that she should feel good about the acceptance to USC

that's like me :/ i got accepted to 5 year pharmD program for UoP
and i dont konw. it seems like uop is appreciating me more than usc! haha

same thing here for d- I never thought of this as a possible outcome. just wondering if anyone else in same situation would mind posting their stats.

the downside would be that it would almost be like transferring in--and I would think that mid-year could be an especially tough time to be the new kid on the block

we were very surprised

it does open up some interesting options for fall, I suppose

would love to hear from anyone who actually took this option in previous years

when did you apply, conf?

USC says there are 400 freshman who will be admitted in the spring so there is a sizeable group to bond with. Anyone else admitted to Annenberg in the spring? I don't know if my d would join a sorority - but how do you rush in the spring? Will there be any programs for the spring admits to visit the campus during the fall and feel like a part of campus? I know that Cal has special programming for spring admits besides orientation.

I wonder if they will actually end up with 400 enrolling in the spring, though.

What are your d's other options? Is she, by chance, in Annenberg? Perhaps we can have a group therapy session!

could you pm me pls? thx

Hey guys, don't lose hope. When I was as incoming freshman at USC one of my friends from HS was a Spring admit. But one day (after she accepted Spring admittance), she got a call from USC and they said there was room in the Fall freshman class and she could join it if she wanted. :)

candy- can you enable yourself to receive a pm? I answered you but it won't go thru..thx

2+2---when did they call her to ofer fall?

it just feels a little like limbo somewhere in between an acceptance and a waitlist

I though I did . Let me try again

This was back in 2005, so I can't remember exactly. But I'm fairly certain it was before senior year ended (Which would mean before mid-June). My guess is that they wait till they see how many Fall admits accept by May 1st, and then afterwards offer spots to Spring admits if there is room.

I'm assuming spring admits would have priority over waitlists...

Wait so if you get in spring, you just sleep until 08?
