Spring 2008 Schedules:

MrSpam
no, I live in Dykstra

is 33A hard? will i need a good prof?

physics 1B & 4AL
math 32A
chinese 3A

do physics labs fill up very fast? i'm wondering what i should do first pass...

Yes they fill up fast.

And my Italian has the flu this week1 He had to cancel dinner :(

Hey, how fast does linguistics 1 fill up? Will it fill by first pass?

Large GE class. Don't worry about it.

Is it advisable to take 30A and 30AL at the same time?

Chem 14B
Chem 14BL
LS1
Math 3C

Hopefully I can get them, I'm especially worried about the Lab because there's only one lecture with 280 spots, and my enrollment time isn't until the 27th at 2pm. :(

Physics 1A likely to not fill up so fast like last quarter because it's off season for engineers?

Should I use priority on Chem 14C or Hnrs 64?

oh i was looking at hnrs 64 also lol.

just see how quickly things are filling up?

Spam: 30AL is still general chem, although you do NMR and IR a bunch. I took it with 30B and the classes helped out with each other. See what moldau thinks...

It does sound interesting. Ms. Pink, are you in Honors or are you just taking it for fun?

The former, Ms. Lin.

Deuces - I just went into OH for the spectroscopy stuff. Also, this website was a lifesaver http://www.cem.msu.edu/~reusch/VirtualText/intro1.htm.

I took 30A the quarter before,a nd was too lazy to sign up for 30B, was fine. Don't kill yourself over it. And steal me a bottle of DCM/toluene/pentanal. I've been cut off.

Chem 14 BL
Math 3C
Physics 6A

I know I should use my priority on Chem 14BL...but what about math or physics? Which fills up faster?

Engl 10A
Econ 2
Econ 41
GE CLST seminar

anyone know anything about Hahn for Econ 41?

Hrmm.. Asian American Studies 10... or Ethnomusicology 35.... or another history class?

these are my 2 possible schedules:

Math33A
Chem30A
Physics 1B-Corbin
CS 31

Math33A
Chem30A
Physics 1B-Cowley
Physics 4AL

i need to take cs31 at some point and would like to have smallberg (who is teaching this quarter). however, that would mean that i have to take corbin, who i heard is good but extremely hard.
or i could wait on cs31 and take the physics lab instead, while getting cowley as my prof.
which one should i do?
thanks!

I'm not sure how Cowley is for physics, but yeah Corbin has pretty hard exams (I have him right now). I mean if you can solve difficult problems, you will do fine. I got a 45/90 on the first midterm, but this was still in the top 15%, since ~97 people got under 20pts lol... I am pretty sure Smallberg like always teaches CS 31 in the Fall quarter, so don't feel like you NEED to take him now...

for me... (EECE)
Math 33A (Laub?) Don't know if good...
CS 33 (Rohr) Only choice
EE 3 Seminar
EE 1? (Heyrat) or EE M16 (CS M51A)

But I'm not sure if I'm going to take EE 1 in Spring... the discussion conflicts with CS 33 lecture, and I think I am going to need all the help I can get for EE 1 ><.

Also it says EE 3 and EE 1 finals are during the same time.... Is there really a "final" for EE 3... the seminar...?

May have to take EE M16 (CS M51A) instead of EE 1...

Is it possible to get an A in Corbin's class?

I am also wondering about Laub too...

Also, when will it be known who is teaching the third lecture for Math 33A?
