<p>Spring admits can participate in informal spring recruitment, if it is being held. Last year only one group had informal recruitment.
Formal recruitment takes place after classes begin around the Labor Day weekend. Presents is held on the Sunday afternoon in October of Parents’ Weekend. Formal recruitment requires possible new members sign up with Panhellenic in advance.</p>

<p>On the acceptance packet it says that nothing more can be done to gain fall admission, and that everyone who got spring is on a waitlist for fall. It just depends on how many kids drop out in your given school or major. I don’t think there’s a specific way to appeal your spring admission. I spoke to someone from the business school today and she said it’s a very rare situation, but it is possible.</p>

<p>^^Yes. You’re guranteed a spot at USC in at least the spring if you don’t get lucky and get bumped to fall.</p>
