Spring 2010 Schedule!

hello,

Need some help please.

I'm trying to take ENG COMP 3, STATS 13, and ECON 1 next quarter and was wondering what 2 classes you guys would recommend I sign up for first for my first-pass.

And also, are there any other GE's that are relatively easy that you would recommend with this schedule?

thank

Definately English Comp 3. Those fill up very fast so it’s imperative to sign up first pass if you want a decent chance at getting the teacher you want. From there, I think its up in the air between Econ 1 and Stats 13, but Id probably go with the Stats class since it has more appeal between different students.

Okay will do.

I actually just changed my class schedule.

It’s going to be ENG COMP 3, GEOGRAPHY 4, and ECON 1.

What should I pick first between GEOG 4 and ECON 1

I think I should go with ECON 1 since I’m a Biz-Econ major and it is a pre-req, but opinions?

I have a spring schedule question too.
Do you think that this workload is manageable ?
LS2, Chem 14C, Chem 14BL and Psych 10 ?

Interesting, I’m taking Econ 1 next quarter as well. It’s Sproul teaching it instead of Bresnock though. Any idea if Sproul is easier? I know Bresnock is a pain…

I haven’t heard sproul was great or bad. I really hadn’t heard much about Bresnock either, I guess it’s just the vaguess of the crappy econ department.

My quarterly “How soon will I die” schedule thread- So far I’ve survived, but here’s what I’m taking next quarter:

Physics 105B
Physics 110B
Physics 115A
Physics 18L
Math 132 (not sure about this one)

-or-

Physics 110B
Physics 18L
Math 191
Math 132

Also, any suggestions on priority?

Dinoian that looks painful. But at least your parents will be proud. Priority = labs first

Econ1 with Bresnock was actually pretty easy, it’s just a super boring class. I’ve heard good things about Sproul. He’s just been teaching econ 11 for so long, i dont know how he teaches 1.

I guess I might need some advice. Here’s what I have so far:

Math 115AH
Phil 137

I need two other classes, and I was originally going to take Phil 136 and Stat 12, but Stat has the same final exam period as 115A. Phil 136 may be interesting, but it doesn’t really fill any requirements unless I decide to minor in Philosophy. And unfortunately, just about everything else I was considering taking (like Econ 1) conflicts with the two original courses. I’m not sure whether to just have a conflicting class, since when I took Phil 31 the lectures were unnecessary and it was an easy A.

calbearTH- be ready to dedicate lots of time to labs. ls2+bl is work but o chem on top of that’s pretty heavy(imo). i haven’t taken 14c but i imagine that it requires time. if i were you i would choose either bl or 14c but thats just me.

So I edited my schedule and want to take:

ECON 1, ECON 41, and ENG COMP 3

What 2 classes should I pick for first pass? My first pass is on 2/25 @ 10:30AM and my 2nd pass is on 3/4

Thanks
