Spring 2012 transfer acceptance

Hi,
I recently checked my solar, and i see that there are all these new links that wasn't there before,

For New Students
Pay Initial Deposits/Fee, New Student Preferences, Advising Planning Form
Campus Financial Services
Account Information/Payment, Financial Aid, Set Billing Notification Email
Campus Housing

And it tells me i could make my initial deposit fees, does this mean i have been admitted to stony brook? I want to make sure before i put the payment. Because i haven't received any acceptance notice in email or in the mail.

Is the Application Status still there? I’m waiting for an answer as well and now I’m getting antsy.

It is it said my application was still processing at the time. But i paid the deposit and niwit says thank youfor chosing stony brook, we look foward to you joining our university community, please goto [Stony Brook University Admitted Student Website](http://www.stonybrook.edu/admissions/admitted) . So i assume ive been admitted.

Good luck to you!

Hey congrats! I’m experiencing the same thing as well. Have you been accepted?

I thought I was the only one checking SOLAR so much that I would notice those changes so I’m happy that you guys are too! I have the same thing going on so if anyone finds out if that means you were officially admitted let me know! I might just have to call admissions tomorrow…

Good luck guys. Ya are the newest Seawolves!!! For those accepted already, welcome to the BROOK!!!

I emailed them once i saw the new links and they have confirmed my admission. So if anyone else sees those links it means youve been admitted  congrats !!

I have no idea how but I got accepted over a week ago with a 3.5 GPA, I’m starting to doubt whether or not I want to go, BTW im a poli sci major.

Is there anything I should know about SBU before I go there?
-Poly scie department proffessor quality and difficulty of classes compared to queens college.
-Would I be better off going to baruch for poly sci?
-How’s the gym?

See you there. Accepted!

E-mail some political science faculty with such questions.

The fitness facilities at Stony are excellent. The new recreation building is being constructed right now.
