Spring 2013 Transfers

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>Does anybody know exactly when Maryland will announce their Spring 2013 transfer decisions? The website says early October and I've been checking the application page religiously for over a week now. What exactly does early October entail?</p>

<p>also, here are my stats just for kicks: (chance me?)</p>

<p>In-state
HS GPA: 2.9
College GPA: 3.2 (two semesters, currently in my third)
ACT: 29 (Superscored)
Resume with with plenty of office job experience and extra-curriculars (network technician over the summer and assorted videography jobs)</p>

<p>I spoke with someone in the undergraduate admissions office today, and I was told that those individuals who met the priority deadline would hear something sometime next week, possibly later than that…</p>

<p>I spoke with the admission office today and was told that decisions would be available at the end of this week or early next week, for those that applied by the priority deadline. Decisions will communicated by both email & the application portal.</p>

I applied for Spring 2013 too. Although I did submit my application and sent my transcripts before the priority deadline, I took my Toefl in august. Does this make me ineligible for early decision?</p>

<p>Hey Everybody. I got accepted into the University of Maryland! YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooo! 3 years in the making and my prayers have been answered. Finally! Good luck to all who are awaiting a decision from the University of Maryland.</p>

<p>I also got accepted! Now I have to be even more patient and wait for the business school decision. From my understanding it is a separate decision made after the acceptance letters are posted.</p>

<p>Did you guys send everything before august 1st. I sent my TOEFL in august so mebbe I was late :(</p>

<p>Yes, I sent everything in before the deadline. I was told that EVERYTHING had to be sent in by the August 1st deadline in order to be considered for priority admissions. You should call the undergraduate admissions office for further information.</p>

<p>if Friday was the first day of them posting the letters then it most likely will post the rest of them early next week. Did you check the application portal? Don’t wait for the snail mail.</p>

<p>Hmm not sure. Mine was up before I received an email. Hopefully Monday you will know. Also does anyone know if business school decisions are separate? I have read different things</p>

<p>My guess its because your TOEFL was not in before the deadline. Looks like you’ll have to be patient for mid-December. Also, the people at undergraduate admissions are very knowledgeable and can answer a lot of questions. I am admitted but have a big issue to find a solution to and they have helped.</p>

<p>i just got into the university of maryland, though they accepted me in “letters and sciences” instead of clark school which is so weird because i have completed all my required course work and I have a 4.0 gpa :S
Is it true that they send the school decision later than the Clark’s school?</p>
