Spring 2015 Transfer discussion

Wait we can do online transcript? I mailed it to the admission office because it says on the website that all documents should be mailed to their address,so I thought they won’t accept any online documents… Anyway, thank you for your information! I guess I’ll just have to call the transcript ordering site and ask…

@username90210
you will in. I just transferred in with same grade you have

What are all of your grades for calc 2 , im applying fall, and i might be getting a B in calc 2 :(

i got an A for calc 2,but i don’t think a B in calc 2 will hurt…

so the wait begins…

Anyone who got in or rejected yet?

Has anyone even had a decision yet? They were supposed to come starting October 1st, they are being really slow…

Around a dozen friends of mine along with myself have applied for transfer, and none have received anything. I emailed my admissions counselor and he said most people this time around will find out after November 7th (no idea why the random date). And just fyi, decisions weren’t supposed to start coming until October 15th, not the 1st.

still files under review… BTW the official spring decision notification date on GT transfer admission website changed to Nov 7th like a month ago.

Well we all find out tomorrow. Good luck to everyone.

Do you guys know how low your grades can be before Tech might raise their eyebrows and consider rescinding admission?

accepted : )

waitlist… which is usually a rejection from others past experiences

Accepted!!

straightup admission denied. oh well. I thought I got a decent chance. congrats to those who got accepted.

Congrats to all accepted. What are your majors?

won’t get a response until next friday…

has anybody who applied for electrical engineering been accepted , if so stats please !!!

I am applying for EE but have not heard back yet

Accepted (I checked on the 9th):
EE
GPA: 3.7, Math and science GPA a bit above that (I was also told at an information session that dual-enrollment grades were taken into account, so the GPA they used would be a bit higher than 3.7)
66 credits, will have 80.
Transfer from SPSU, 1 year out of high school, talked about ECs and outreach in essay
I have a bit of dilemma though, so waitlisted EEs, hang in there!

Do u guys think out of state will help , I see a lot of u guy are in state
