Admissions doesn’t even look at your application until they have all the requisite materials, i.e. mid-term report. I expect decisions to be released by mid-december at the latest, since they pushed the due date back this cycle.

Ah ok cool. Do any of you guys wanna swap essays and proofread? I think it’ll be helpful. Im willing to read your guys’s and give feedback if you read mine

Also, for me, my common app is due BEFORE i will even have my mid terms. What do I do in this situation?

@arkarind They allow you to submit mid term reports after the due date. Cornell is very understanding about this.

Ah cool.

Does anyone know the acceptance rate for A&S CS?

Low. Most likely less than 10%

Ah damn. I wonder what kind of people typically get in lol. @Numbersz are you applying for A&S CS too?

Does anybody know when will Cornell start processing application? We roughly only have 15 days before the deadline…

@arkarind I thought about it but I would probably be wasting my time, my “extracurricular” activities are mostly non-existent, unless they take (non-CS related) work into consideration.

@arkarind I will be glad to proofread your essay!

@Hola1357 I will PM you

Has anybody received any confirmation email yet?

hey guys, is it true that if you apply earlier the decision is given earlier as well?

I have received my confirmation email. I am just waiting for my app fee waiver to clear now.

@rdlp123 when did you submit in your application?

I submitted mine exactly a week ago.

@hardcoregamer depends on when they receive all your materials. Even if you send in your app a month before the deadline, they won’t even look at it until they have all the requisite forms.

Has anyone else not submitted yet?

Yeah that’s true. I should be able to submit my midterm grades in two weeks time.

s it mandatory to send our SAT scores if we have taken the SAT in the past? My SAT score isnt cornell material at all, will this impact the admission decision or do they not care about SATs? Like if I just dont send my SAT even though I have taken it, will it matter?
