What program in the 1 year AAS? I applied to the one year program too (fashion design)!
I applied to the 1 year AAS (fashion design)… but they damn put me as 2 year AAS because i supposedly don’t have enough transferrable general education credits. Says it on my application summary, but they said its only the initial process. Anyone the same?
Oh no! That really sucks Tysforreal. I’m pretty sure you can appeal that if you really think you have enough. I guess wait and see if you are accepted and then try to get them to reconsider?
Yes, I know. They said that I can appeal, which I definitely will do because most of the classes will be a waste of my time and money. Also, from what I have read from previous admissions, if they adjust your application summary (particularly like that- from 1 year to 2 year), it means you have been accepted and that I am an eligible candidate. So… hopefully
We are expecting the acceptance letters next week to december
Good luck and that sounds exciting! Hopefully you are right!
likewise!!
Do you have any idea how many people are accepted each semester into the one year FD program? I can’t find data for one year programs, just two year programs. Kinda weird they wouldn’t post both.
Not so sure. They accept like 40-something percent of candidates for admissions, so I am sure it is altogether- bachelors transfers, 1 year, and 2 year. Like a 1,100 out of 2,300. From what I understand.
It’s the same as 2 year because they don’t care unless you are a highly eligible candidate. 1 year just means that you are placed with the 2 year students but ahead of them
I called today to check the status of my application and the woman said they’ve made the decisions and were putting together the envelopes as we speak. Praying we get in! What are all of your gpa’s like?
Oh my gosh thanks for sharing! My undergrad gpa is 3.1 and then i did some post bacc work that was 3.4.
Thank you so much for sharing! I hope it’s a good news for everyone
i live on long island… insane to think i could find out today or tomorrow!
Good luck to everyone!!
