no, they can tell you whether or not they’ve made a decision on your application but not what the decision is:(
Hey guys! I applied for the 1 year FBM program for this spring. I applied last year for Fall 2016 and got it but decided not to go because my sister was in college too so it was too expensive for my parents but she’s graduating this semester. I didn’t make the priority deadline but I’m hoping that doesn’t affect my ability to get in or push back when I find out if I got accepted. I’m super anxious to find out if I got in because its stressful not knowing if I will stay at my current university next semester or not. I also live in Texas so its going to take a while for my letter to get to me. Thanks everyone for the info it was really helpful! The people that are accepted should keep in contact- I heard it’s harder to make friends at FIT so it would be nice to know people before we get there. Good luck to everyone on getting in!
Yeah I’ve heard it’s hard to make friends there. This waiting makes me anxious.

Florida actually, when i sent my transcripts they got there super fast lol so I knew i would get my response quick
@mmcb12 When did you submit everything for your application? I think they look at them in order so that could help us see where we are in the chain!

Hi guys! Just received my admissions’ decision today; am humbled and excited to announce that I’ll be enrolling in FIT’s one-year AAS degree program in FBM.
Just to give everyone a (possible?) frame of reference:
I am a transfer student; applied with a 3.0 GPA.
I applied super early (application was complete by August).
I currently live in Central NJ.
I truly think my essay is what stood out (had a 2.5 my first semester of college).

@pizzawhat Her GPA was 3.4 out of 4.0. She rejected three times and then went to Parsons but if you have decent essay, then you have chance stay positive!
I called admissions and they said my application is complete, and I should hear back before Dec 1st. Has anyone else tried to contact them?
Hi, everyone I applied for fashion design one year. @pizzaaa did they say when your application became complete. I was told mine was complete last week, and I everything just showed as submitted on my application as of last week too. I had a problem with my transcripts and essay, but I was told even though they weren’t showing up in the system that they had already looked at my portfolio. I had submitted my transcripts and essay mid-October, but for some reason it wasn’t coming up in the system until someone outside of admissions searched for everything.
