Update: I received an email from Hunter asking for some forms to finish calcualting my financial aid about an hour ago. It’s starting to get real and I’m starting to get very excited.

As a transfer. I’ll be done with my second year when the spring semester is finished

@tabz110 I am not sure if you can, but give CUNY application center a call to get an update or give City College/ Queens College a call for an update!
Anyone got acceptance emails from Queens or Hunter?
@queens12 I’m still waiting. Anxiously waiting lol
Really glad I found this site. So I applied in July of this year for spring 2017 semester but all I’m seeing on the cuny web is that my app is completed and an admission decision has been made…but no email as of yet suspense is killing me
@zamasu1988 Did you call Cuny hotline? The number is 212-997-2869. It will tell you the college which has made decision of your application. Mine says Hunter college but no one knows what decision it would be…
@eleanors I call like almost every day (I think they are getting tired of hearing my voice) the hotline says currently under review. When I spoke with an admission rep she said that she’s not in the position to tell me where I got accepted into but I should just make sure that the email address I have on file is correct. Will be calling back again tmrw early.
@zamasu1988 well, even if she didn’t tell u where u got in, she did say that you got in somewhere, so congrats! Did u apply in the beginning of July? And to which schools?
@Randeemichel1 I applied July 12 to be exact. Queens, bcc, hunter, city and york. Just want some sort of concrete evidence that I’m in so I can start my process
Hey guys! I applied as a Transfer back in June, and around two weeks ago whenever I called the CUNY hotline it said my decision was made and I would be getting a decision from one college choice shortly, and after it said Baruch College.
Amazingly, last week I got my acceptance e-mail, but I still haven’t received anything in the mail. So for those of you waiting, sit tight and keep checking your e-mail! I’m sure it’ll come soon.
Hi! I also applied an am waiting for an email.
CUNY.edu status:
Your application is complete.
An admissions decision has been made by the college(s) listed on your application.
You will receive notification from only one college choice shortly.
When I called the hotline it mentions only Hunter College. Does that mean I got in???
@MattyBoy910 If Hunter is your first choice, then I would say most likely.
You can give Hunter’s admission office a call and ask; however, a few people said that Hunter only gave general information.
If you listed another college on your application, such as Brooklyn or Queens, you can also give them a call because they usually give out the information.
@eleanors A rep from CUNY application center will not give out an application decision. I read many posts and 99% of them say that they just give out general info, I think only one or two persons said that a rep told them. The reps will say that “they are not allowed to give out admission decisions.” I would recommend trying the college that is listed on the hotline again at different times/ days or another colleges you listed on your application, so far Baruch, Brooklyn, and Queens don’t mind giving out decisions over the phone.
I have also read that Hunter doesn’t like giving out info over the phone. I think only one person on this post was lucky to get a response from them.
