Hey y’all, I’m a very restless person and I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on my chances to transfer to tamu Petroleum Engineering.
-36 hours completed @ lonestar college
-3.92 GPA, Calc 1/2, chem 1/2, physics 1/2, all A’s only a B in english.
Calc 3 and technical com in fall
-Very relevent work experience to petroleum industry
-Fantastic Essays highlighting experience in oilfield
-Many different volunteer, extracurricular activities, and awards
-Eagle scout
Anyone have any guesses?

@csesh115 I am applying for petroleum too, but my GPA is lower than yours, 3.7. I also received the transfer audit on the same day as yours. I think you will get in since you already completed all of the requirement courses plus many extracurricular activities.
@Vietnamese do you think it will matter that calc 3 is in progress? I know it says “additional” but they might still treat it like required.
@csesh115 I honestly have no idea. I know somebody got denied because he did not take tech writing and cal 3 yet
