Spring 2019 Transfer

@HSCTiger2021 I’m a little nervous to try it. Did you? Did it work?
I just don’t know if Cornell tracks these things. Sounds stupid but do you think?

@HSCTiger2021 I also do not get a date.

So I tried really hard (resetting password) and logged in as well. Sorry for the excitement…

yes. @studygym what is your major? School of choice? Stats?

Well I am a bit too shy to say those now… Let’s wait and see what happens.

Anyone able to login to housing? https://living.cornell.edu/live/apply/housing-portal-login.cfm

I couldn’t. “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in.”

Same. Well, can you at least tell me your school of choice and major your trying to transfer into? Your anonymous on here lmao @studygym

Is anyone calling Cornell CAS tomorrow to ask when we should expect to hear?

My stats:
From a Los Angeles Community College ( so I probably won’t get in but hey lol why not try)

Major: Anthropology BA
GPA: 4.0
prereqs: DONE
Igetc: DONE
semester units by Spring 2019: 88 units
no ACT or SAT ( again probably not going to get in lolllll )

EC: 200+ hours of volunteering at hospital, 100+ hours of shadowing a DPM, 50 hours of shadowing at Emergency Room Doctor .

Schools Applying:
(UCs: UCLA, UC Berkely, UCSD, UCSB, UCI)
(CSU: CSUN, SDU, CSULB, Cal Poly SLO)
(Private: USC, Pitzer, Cornell)

Can anyone here comment on my prereqs if Im f*cked?

I’m a first semester freshman and my current uni let me do college algebra and I was fine with it even though I could’ve got Precalc. I think that was a bad decision in retrospect.

I really want to transfer to Cornell but it says you need to have taken Calc and Stats. You need to take two calc classes at my current uni before taking stats. So my schedule will be
S1 Freshman: alg2
S2 Freshman: Precalc
S1 Soph: Calc1
S2 Soph: Calc2

You can only transfer to cornell biz school freshman or sophomore year, so could I transfer end of second semester sophomore year and say I am currently taking stats (for next semester) and apply as a tranfer? or am I totally f*cked?

thanks

I knew I got in because in the to do for new students it said that my health insurance was complete. If it says complete, then pretty sure you got accepted because that’s what happened to me! good luck!

.

@poyoya ugh lol. I can’t even find the website anymore. I also don’t remember seeing a health thing for me as complete. sad

OMG! My health thing says it is complete lol

I’m nervous. I genuinely haven’t heard anything. Also, I tried the pin trick and it didn’t work .-.

In previous threads it says financial aid shows initiated or ordered. Where would that be? Our financial aid to do list is blank. Has always been blank. Just curious where I would see that.

@kirby509 @Cornellmom20 What does your to-do list say under Health next to health insurance?

I just checked, and it says complete. However, I have a bunch of other stuff that’s incomplete like dining/meal plan enrollment. Is that a good thing or?

I just clicked on the health insurance, and it said I’m now enrolled in the Cornell Student Health Plan. Does everyone else see this?
