Spring Admission -- Is it worth it

I am currently a Kinesiology student at Santa Rosa Junior College with hopes to transfer to a CSU either this Spring or in the Fall of 19. My GPA is currently 3.6 and I hope to go to any of these schools (in order of preference) SLO, SDSU, Chico, San Marcos, possibly SFState. SLO and SDSU don’t do spring transfers but I would really like to be done at the JC after this fall. Is it worth staying through the Spring at SRJC to finish what i need to get to SLO and SD? What about transferring to Chico in the spring and if I don’t like it transferring to SLO or SD from there.

Also I really don’t know anything about San Marcos, has anyone heard anything about their Kines program? I also see that they have an accelerated program. What is your opinion on an accelerated program?

Why don’t you just take spring semester off, and transfer for the fall?

Ive thought about it but I feel like I would get behind + I still to take classes in the spring if I want to get into SLO + SF. definitely want to study abroad at some point though.

Can you do study abroad from your CC for the spring? Investigate that too.
