Spring Admission

Hi, I am a spring admit. I am asking for advice from current Trojans on what GEs I should take at the JC before matriculation. Should I get the science and math out of the way and other hard ones? Thank you.

science and math are good to get out of the way, but mainly get any foreign language out of the way if you have to have it. The other GEs at USC are pretty cool, if you pick the right ones.

what GE's do you recommend?

I am a spring admit, and I am telling you right now to get your Writing 140 (or its equivelent) done at a JC! Make sure that you talk in person with a faculty member from USC to clear the course. I had so many friends lose credits because they ended up not being transferable. I would also recommend getting as much math out of the way as possible.

Check the USC-Articulation Agreements before taking a specific course at a JC. That way, you can be sure that the credits will transfer.

[edit] By the way, is the GE writing requirement WRIT130 or 140?

the GE writing requirement is WRIT 140
