Does RPI have a spring admission for freshmen applicants? From what I'm seeing I only see a spring admission for people who want to transfer.

I remember reading that RPI has a select program where instead of starting in the Fall, you start in January following that Fall. Aside from that, I don’t think they have any other terms to start in for freshmen.

I don’t know the details, but I do know my son knows a few people who started in the spring. It may have been RPI’s conditions to start in spring to replace those who didn’t make it through the first semester. I’ve heard of that at other schools.

yes RPi does have a spring admission, it is called the january admissions program… but you cannot apply for that admission. You get denied, accepted, or you can be given the option of starting in january for the spring semester… For the first semester, you can study abroad or just relax; they give you several different alternatives for the one semester you will be missing. I hope this helps!

So wait, I had to apply for the Fall admissions to get the option of starting in January? T_T Bah… well thanks for the info everyone.
