I thought we had to wait to receive an email before we could try and create our email account and rsvp for orientation?

That’s what happened with the fall people…they commited and then had to wait for an email that they would recive about 5-7 days from that time that allowed them tocreate their account and register for orientation. I think it’s the same for spring.

I believe HMRacts is correct; my gf said hers was 5-7 as well and she is fall. I just posted to see when people would start to get e-mails =) i don’t feel official until i get that e-mail and get on the network =P

hmm. im fall and for me they sent an email regarding orientation; in the email there was a link to create/locate your email address.
Here, try this

yes, that’s the link but we cannot access it until we have received the official email. you are fall so that’s why you received yours sooner than the spring admits!!

spring admits should be receivving theirs soon tho!

I would really appreciate someone answering my question: Does submitting your $300 enrollment commitment deposit right away have any affect on getting priority housing? Or do you only get first dibs on housing if you submit the housing app right away (July 1)?

I just want to make sure I am not in any disadvantage by not having submitted my $300 yet!!

I think housing priority is based on when you fill out housing forms and pay your housing deposit. (July 1) However, remember spring admits will be filling in vacated spots from those that have left university housing available to freshman. So, does this mean it will be more important to get all housing documents and deposit in on time in order to secure housing?
