Spring admit FPF reservation!!!

Hey I’m an econ major/Haas intended who was Spring 08.

I was a bit ****ed/sad at first when I found out as well, but FPF is seriously amazing. Professors are great and really want to be there. I actually like it more than campus because the class sizes were so small (restricted to 75 max). Professors were really easy to talk to and meet in office hours. GREAT experience, would do it all over again if I had to.

The only thing is that you get screwed for housing. They say they give 50% housing, which is bs. If you do get housing, it’ll prob be terrible. However, there are a lot of alternatives.

Fill your 7 breath reqs at FPF, and you’ll be right on track. Don’t worry about completing major reqs just yet.

PM me if you have any questions.

What options are there for housing besides the dorms at school? Also, are we offered the same stuff for the rest of the year? like senior weekend and such? Or is that strictly for Fall admits?

I heard that if you are local, the chances for a FPF student to get on campus housing is nil.

Housing is done by lottery. That said, if you whine enough (which someone not local would be more likely to do, perhaps that’s where the rumor comes from) they usually accommodate you. So do apply for campus housing even if you are local; your chances certainly aren’t nil.
