Hi! who out there is a spring admit?? whether on fall wait list or in DC fall program or fall Rome program (scholars). It would be nice to see who else is considering spring admission.
My daughter is a spring admit (deposit submitted) and on the fall wait list. She is an HRIM (hotel, restaurant and institutional management) major. We are from upstate NY.
My d is in the world scholars program and will be going to Rome in the fall , the scholars program was a fall admit the program was optional , she could have attended UD campus in the fall or Rome … She chose Rome , we are also upstate NY .
I will be going Rome in the fall. I am an accounting major, planning to get double major with political science and minor in global studies. I am from Seattle, WA.
My daughter is an environmental policy major, will be attending the DC program for fall at American. We are from NJ. She is getting nervous, people keep telling her udel is a party school & she is not into that scene.

The AU Fall Program sounds like it will be an excellent first college semester for your D based upon her future UD major. I would really not worry about what your D hears from others about UD being a “party school”. It is no more a party school than other similar university. UD was stuck with this dubious distinction designation many years ago and it unfortunately has stuck around up to the present time. As the academic quality of the student body and the academic standards of the university have increased over the last 10 years they have had a major impact in reducing the amount of partying that goes on. You won’t be around long at UD if you decide to major in partying. Your D will be fine. Have a great time at AU.
For those going to DE in DC have u paid a housing deposit yet?
