As a freshman spring admit, will my grades from community college this fall transfer into USC or do i just get the unit credit? i mildly remember someone saying that GPA does not transfer in, just the units. any help would be great, thanks

If you took the courses from your com. col. that were in the articulation agreement they are supposed to transfer over. AP tests give you credit and courses that don't transfer over give you credit. I am pretty sure if you took the transferable courses at the com. col. they transfer over as gpa. That was the whole point of doing it.

Your GPA from the community college will transfer to USC, but it will be separate from the GPA that you earn at USC. In other words, you're gonna have two GPAs, one for the coursework at your JC, and the other for your grades at SC.

Is that advantageous or not?
