Spring Break...much needed.

Ok guys. We need to chill out some.
I broke down sobbing yesterday because I made a 73 on an essay (when I got home). One essay....
I blame it on lack of sleep and stress. But seriously, I know that there are a lot of people in the same boat as me...it's not healthy. I can't wait for spring break.

gahhh a week of sleep and food and relaxing...

yeah. I'm pretty much the same right now. I started crying today when my parents asked about a test, and when I found out I was accepted to apply to an honors scholar program at one of my college choices- because it meant more essays.
I don't even really get off over spring break sicne I'll be working almost full-time and working on those new apps.
I though this would be over once I got accepted!

for me its one more month till spring break.....
damn thats so far away
and in the midst of all that are the AP's
o jeezy

ooooh that sucks. mine is...mid april. so aps are a few weeks from that. i'm definitely driving to my brother's at the beach and chilling.

I got a 73 on an AP Chem test recently (yes, I did study). Hopefully I don't score abysmally on anything else, because our teacherdrops our lowest grade.

I need apring break. I can catch up on things my body needs and I can FINALLY get a GOOD start on AP study.

wow your break is really late in the year, and sorry to gloat but mine starts tomorrow!!!! and its 2 weeks off!!!

mine sort of starts tomorrow. even though technically it's monday. I only have a week of though.

I'm in IB Diploma, and all our official assignments are being mailed to Europe next week, which means that if I don't have everything in by tomorrow (and a few things by Monday), I don't graduate from high school. Tomorrow, I'll be taking my IB French A1 HL oral exam--the one that's recorded and sent to Europe and graded really harshly--after pulling an all-nighter to finish all my work, which makes me incoherent even in English. Then we have to go through two weeks of mock IBs, which are like practice IB exams and make up most of our third trimester grades, followed by another week of regular classes; spring break doesn't start until March 26, and it's a week long... then the actual IB exams are between May 2 and May 23.

I am NOT enjoying senior year. I've cried almost every day for the past two weeks. :(

seriously, I feel terrible for you.
this blows!

congrats to all of you who have spring break next week. my college classes are on break so I have a sleep in...so that's a positive thing.

mmmmm i saw a daffodil trying to grow above the ground the other day. daffodils mean like...april...which is almost may...and may means....graduation (or really close to it) :)

I caught a baaad cold this monday and can't stay home due to the workload, so I ended up sitting through two tests and a dissection with chills...yeah. Haven't gotten the grades back from those yet, not sure I want to, haha.

You're definitely not the only one waiting for spring break

i just got a 72 on a bio test studied and everything! I was really mad until i found out the highest grade in the class was an 81 and that theres going to be a retake and I still have a 95 in the class :D....my spring break starts beginning of april which sucks!

I have a spring break at the end of this month, but I must get through Government (another impossible book to read) and Physics (a hard class), and motivate myself to work harder in English (in which I have not written the one essay assigned over the last four weeks).

Mine is also at the end of the month, I can't wait.

Yea, I kind of had off from school due to way easier classes this term (AP Psych and AP Econ are ridiculously easy at our school), but for the past couple weeks I've been back into gear and am remember what it is like to be stressed out. I've had a chronic headache for about a week. Yesterday I turned in 7 scholarships (some w/ essays), a HUGE calculus project (weird I know), and had a Princeton interview. Today was sort of, but not really at the same time, relaxing, because I was at my state swim meet. And this weekend I have a scholarship competition at Rollins, and then I have state finals for the AAA Travel Challenge next week. Semester exams are the week after, and there's about three psychology essays I need to turn in (which I guess won't be too hard since that class is a joke to begin with). AP tests of course are coming up eventually too...and considering that I have 7 and only 2 of them I would consider that we had worthwhile teachers, I have a LOT of self-studying to do. Senioritis is not helping this at all either. Or my recent 77 on a calculus test (but I didn't study lol).

All I can say though is thank the lord juniors and seniors get off for the FCAT. That's like 5 days we don't have to go to school. Our spring break isn't until April 7th though, but it works out perfectly b/c I will be able to go visit where I get in since I will find out March 29th. I'm so excited for spring break and summer break. And college.
