Where did everyone go on your first spring break in college? Who did you go with and what activities did you partake in?

I just went home. It was a nice break from school. I went to visit my grandparents during it, and relaxed.

I want to go somewhere this upcoming spring break, but probably won't because I'll be saving all the money I can for my study abroad in the summer. Maybe senior year?

Went home because I was so homesick and I just went through a difficult period with a friend so I needed time to recover.

I just worked all break and it was kinda freaky because the campus was so quiet...

all my friends go home too so i can't do anything exciting.

I was forced to go home because of no money.

I went to South Padre as a sophomore and it was AWESOME.

Junior year, again no money. Stayed in my college town a few extra days and worked, then spent a couple days at home.

Senior year, was saving money for a big trip to Vegas with my fraternity brothers after graduation - so I ended up just road tripping to see my friends who weren't on break yet.

My recommendation GO SOMEWHERE. Seriously way better. My trip to Padre was one of my favorite memories (err...what I remember) from college.

I went home and did nothing. :)

fall break though I have spent both times at college. our campus is really nice, and when it's empty it's really peaceful too... not to mention they leave the concert hall and practice rooms open and since there's nobody here, they're usually free as well :)

snowboard camp

My first year I went to Cancun with 12 of my best friends. I would only go with a large group of friends who like to party like crazy. If you are going to go, spend the extra money and stay at a good place like Oasis. Make sure you get all inclusive so you can drink all day.

Some of the downsides of cancun are parts of it is kind of dirty, there are people begging for money everywhere, you typically have to tip bartenders to get served even if you have an all inclusive party package.

If you are planning to go to spring break, we provide some tips on our website, you might want to check them out. (In the "college parties" section)

Last year, I went home, hung out with whoever was there, drove to my girlfriend's house in Southern Maryland with friends and we all spent the night there.

It was a chill time. I did a lot of sleeping.

This year, I'm trying to go on Alternative Spring Break, which is a program that takes you to a place somewhere in the country to do community service--I'm looking to go to Boston, San Francisco, Appalachia (KY), or New York.

It's my freshman year and for spring break I'm going to Montreal. It's a cheap getaway.

I stayed at school since my mom and brother came up that week looking at colleges so there'd be no point to fly home and all of my friends went home. Half the time I spent alone in my dorm room (sad, I know :P) and half the time I was with my mom and brother.

This spring break is really late because our break coincides with Passover. I think we have break the last week of April, 2 days of class, and then study days and finals so there's no point in going home for anyone. I'm either going to Montreal, Puerto Rico, or a bunch of friends and I are renting a house on the Cape.

Did anyone do alternative spring break or anything?

I didn't last year (didn't do anything interesting for spring break last year) but I'm considering doing one this year. Did you?

I wanna go to Montreal.......but unfortunately I'm broke.

I'm looking to do ASB this spring. It's gonna be pretty competitive this year though...they got like 400 applications but they can only take less than 200 to their trips this year.

No, this is my first year in college. I think I will do it, the only problem is that it actually COSTS MONEY and my dad thinks me traveling places is RETARDED. :/
