Spring Catalog

Is there anyway I could see classes offered in spring of 2012?

Thank you

No, sorry. That’s mainly because most spring course offerings are very tentative and vary dramatically (depending on what profs. are available, if they wanna teach, etc.). It won’t come out until like the mid portion of fall semester I think.

Ok cool. Make sense…Thanks bernie.

Is there any place we can see detailed info on the 2011 fall course catalog? I can see all the classes that are offered, but most only have very limited descriptions, like one or two sentences. Is there a place where I can get better info on these courses?

Unfortunately, if you are referring to syllabi (in the even that clicking on the class in the course atlas wasn’t enough), then not really. However, you can refer to any past syllabi available I guess. You can, for example search a course on Emory’s website and you may come up w/some syllabi for the course of interest, some recent, some not so much.

Also: I get the feeling that amnt of info. depends on the course. For example, I think that the amount offered for bio is adequate:
[BIOL 141-000: Foundations of Modern Biol I (Fall 2011) | Emory College | Atlanta, GA](<a href=“Welcome to Emory College.”>Welcome to Emory College.)

With that said, the course atlas/catalog will certainly not give you things such as an idea of what the workload encompasses, that simply isn’t its job.

Thanks for the information. Very helpful!
