Spring class schedule...

I am applying to transfer from my community college to top colleges so I need all the help I can get.

I was wondering if you think this is foolish of me. 3 out of my 5 classes I will be taking most likely will not be covering and general education requirement wherever I transfer. However, I do not want to only take 2 classes and look like I'm slacking...it's just that my school isn't offering any classes I could take in areas that I haven't already completed. Also my gpa is 3.7ish which is pretty much borderline for top schools so it'd probably look good to have a full schedule of A's on my midterm report.

So do you think it's good to have a full schedule of 17 credits or should I just take the 2-3 classes that will actually transfer.

Are you talking about winter or spring? You’ll get accepted before you even submit your spring grades right? I’d only take the 2-3 that will actually transfer and state that in your application.

The schools I’m applying to want a midterm grade form and also require me to list my spring grades on the application so they’ll know what I’m taking. I feel as though only taking 9 credits will look kind of slacking…I don’t know.
