spring classes?

Hey, what did you all sign up for next semester?

I did:
CHEM 102b 01
CHEM 104b 04
CHEM 106b 03
BSCI 110b 02
BSCI 111b 01
MATH 150b 02
SPAN 201 02
HONS 185 06

17 hours...AHHHHHHH!

Did you meet with your advisor first?

I'm meeting with my adivisor today. I'll let you guys know pretty soon....

I doubt anyone else is taking these:

MATH: Introduction to Analysis
MATH: Complex Variables
CS: Programming Languages
CS: Compiler Construction
CS: Operating Systems

ah, evil_robot you're just the person I'm looking for. You're in the computer science department, right? So I'm looking for a CS 101 or 103 teacher next year. I've done some research but haven't talked to anybody who has had them yet. Do you know anything about J. M. Fitzpatrick and Jeanne Milostan? or does anyone know anything about them? Are they good teachers, etc?

BSCI 110B
BSCI 111B
CHEM 220B
CHEM 219B
SPED 1010
ENGL 112W
PSY 1150

17 hours too.

um, do you think it would be wise to take 18 hours? I have to take 14 for engineering, but would also like to take a 4 hour class for a minor in material science. I'm thinking that I actually might be able to do this since there aren't a lot of courses that requires HW daily except for probably CS and math.

Chem102b(with recitation, lecture, lab) 09, 02, 04
Phys 116a(lab, lecture) 02 03
CS 103 01
Math 175 03
MSE 150(lab, lecture) 02 13
18 hours?

not so fast, evil robot =)

math 208 - diff eq (i wanted to take 208, so i waited way too long for a formal class)
math 261 - complex variables (have you had remus yet? he's the man)
phys 225b - intro to quantum (apply schroedinger to even more situations)
phys 229 - intermediate e&m (and thus it begins...)
chin 216 - intermediate chinese (这个暑假我打算去中国!!)

18, but only because chinese is 5 so i would hope its not that bad

guyute - I had him for Math 200. If you had him for Math 204 or 170, prepare to get rocked ;).

I know people getting rocked in math 170 now taught by remus.

uh oh, twas 204 indeed. i've heard the word on 200. yeehaw

I had a friend taking 204 with Remus. From what he described, it wasn't nearly as bad as 200.

Anyway, as far as 170 goes, his comments to me were along the lines of:
"My calculus students however do not seem to appreciate calculus to its full beauty despite the problems i give them in quizzes. They do not like that quizzes as much as I do."

Obviously it's not finalized yet, but as of now I am signed up for:

MATH 198 (Diff Eq)
CS 103 (Intro to Programming for Engineers)
PHIL 102 (Logic)
ASTR 102 (Intro to Stars & Galaxies)
ASTR 103 (Lab)
CMST 100 (Foundations of Public Speaking)
